Abstract

|
Congenital dextrocardia with situs inversus is relatively uncommon anomaly. It would appear from various figures reported in the literature that the incidence is approximately 1:10,000(1-5) Dextrocardia complicated by acquired organic heart disease must be rare. Apparently no case of dextrocardia complicated by combined mitral insufficiency and narrowing of descending aorta has been recorded. The purpose of this paper is to review these cases and to add one of our observations, in which combined cardiac catheterization and cineangiocardiogram were performed.
